Willy-T Wreck

On August 7th, 2019, in collaboration with Beyond The Reef, Commercial Dive Services achieved the successful sinking of the Willy T, a maritime landmark now situated at a depth of 65 feet in Key Bay, Peter Island. This strategic placement ensures accessibility for both snorkelers and scuba divers, with the vessel's highest point, the "crows nest," positioned at 35 feet.

Kodiak Queen

A team of artists, engineers, scientists, and donors saved a decorated WW2 ship from being scrapped for metal. They transformed it into the first artificial reef to be sunk in the BVI. The project aimed to rehabilitate over-fished marine populations and boost the BVI economy. Art sculptures were used as coral out-planting platforms to kick-start a thriving reef ecosystem.

Sharkplaneos

The Sharkplaneos consist of a bull shark, a hammerhead, and a nurse shark. The main goal of this man-made reef was to boost tourism and to encourage the local youth to get involved with the ocean community. Beyond The Reef regularly checks the coral and fish populations at the site.
