2008 Projects

Norman Island 2008

Commercial Dive Services was hired to lay Geo Textile and pin in place to the seabed in order for break walls to be constructed, divers laid hundreds of feet of Geo-Tex while pinning to the seabed.


Norman Island 2008

Commercial Dive Services was hired to inspect 73 Mooring Systems and to recommend and then repair all 73 Moorings and put back into service the moorings ranged from depths of 25 feet to 65 feet of water.


Trellis Bay 2008


Commercial Dive Services was hired to overhaul and bring up to service 14 moorings at Trellis Bay, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.


Private Charters Moorings 2008


Commercial Dive Services overhauled and serviced 16 complete moorings in Road Harbour, British Virgin Islands.


St.Kitts Port Authority 2008


Commercial Dive Services was hired to remove three shafts and props and change out cutlass bearings on the Port Authority Tug, the vessel carries 6 inch shafts.
Commercial Dive Services also carried out an inspection in conjunction with St.Jean Engineering on the Port Zante Cruise Ship Pier, and included in this survey was the Commercial Port Dock.
The inspections were for insurance purposes and our team of capable divers carried out the work in one week.


British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation 2008


Once again our company was called to clean the entire intake line for the power station, carry out numerous repairs and include recommendations for repairs and future maintenance. The divers also built a custom made caisson and repair several patches that were damaged by ships refueling the station to close to the line.


Peter Island, British Virgin Islands 2008


Contracted by local company Krauss Manning our on staff Oceanographer and Engineers surveyed the areas for development at Peter Island, and carried out a survey with probing, sea bed study environmental report and sea bed contours.
