American Pride Ferry Salvage Diving 2007
Commercial Dive Services was hired by Security on Sea and Sea Tow St.Thomas to assist and carry out the works on the vessel American Pride a 97 foot Aluminum Ferry grounded on the Triangle Reef outside St. Thomas Harbour Charlotte Amalie - the vessel was so severely grounded and holed that it was cut in half and lifted onto barges and then towed back to the British Virgin Islands.
Installation of Sewerage Outfall 2007
Commercial Dive Services was hired by the Water and Sewerage department to increase the length of the old outfall at Slaney Hill, Road Town, British Virgin Islands. Commercial Dive Services manufactured its own couplings and installed an additional 400 feet of pipeline at a depth of 75 feet.
Necker Island Beach Building December 2007
Using a custom made diver sand dredge Commercial Dive Services built a custom made beach for Necker Island to facilitate a celebrity wedding. The experienced team pumped sand from a catchment area onto an eroded area to bring back the beach in time for the wedding. The heavy seas had eroded the beach previously.
BVI Electricity Water Intake and Outfall Pipeline 2007
The team of Commercial Dive Services cleaned and repaired 800 feet of pipeline that supplies the power station with cooling water. By customizing cleaning pigs and spools the line was cleaned, all chambers were cleaned and necessary patches replaced for maintenance.
British Virgin Island Port Authority 2007
In September 2007, Commercial Dive Services were hired to carry out Wave Attenuation Studies, Bathymetric Surveys including Side Scan Surveys, Sub Bottom Surveys, Contouring and Sea Bed Analysis of the Inner Harbour, revetment and cruise pier bulk heads. The area surveyed was approximately 800 feet x 500 feet.
MV Alyeska 2007
Sank in Chocolate Hole in St.John United States Virgin Islands - Christopher Juredin and one other diver patched the vessel and floated it, dewatered it and prepped for towing back to the British Virgin Islands. This was a brand new power cat commission by The Moorings Charter company,
Brett and Christopher were contracted by Sea Tow USVI for the diving work.
